THE ALUMNI FUND

The LSU Alumni Association is a self-sufficient non-profit organization that receives no University or state funding.

The Alumni Fund has been a vital part of the tremendous success enjoyed by one of the most respected alumni organizations in the United States. The fund, established in 1958, underwrites alumni-sponsored scholarships, professorships, various academic awards, worldwide alumni chapters, a variety of on-campus events, reunions and operational expenses. Unrestricted annual contributions of $50 or more are sought from alumni and friends to fund the annual operation of the Association.

In order to permanently endow its operation so that unrestricted funds will always be available to provide alumni the level of excellence that they have come to expect, the Association is seeking gifts of cash, stock or bequests of $10,000 or more.
